Musee d'Orsay. Cost $37.11 Richard does not go. He will rest at the apartment like the doctor advised. My admission is for 10:00 am. 1900 World Fair-train station. Station was gradually abandoned. In 1977 the French government decided to turn the building into a museum. 1986. Paintings, sculptures, decorative arts, photography and drawings. From 1848 to 1914. I get a brochure. There's a map showing the different levels and what art is to be found on each level. The brochure also showcases several paintings, etc. and on which level you can find them. I had my own list of what I wanted to see and several on my list were also listed in this brochure. My main focus was level 5 where the Impressionists and post-Impressionists are located. Like Monet, Renoir, Cezanne, Degas, Manet. The building itself is beautiful. Souvenirs-I bought postcards and socks! Cost 27.30€/$32.00 Cost 9.40€/$11.02 I could have spent all day here. So much to see. But I was getting tired and I was happy with what I saw. As it was I was here for around 3 hours. Uber back to the apartment. Cost 15.45€/$18.11 I get back to the apartment at 1:45 pm.

I stop at the boulangerie/bakery-Meunier-that is right next door to our apartment. Everything looks so good. I'm hungry so I bought a slice of the pistachio babka and a can of coke. Cost 7.75€/$9.08 My afternoon snack! It was delicious and this place will become my go to for French goodies.
Doctor follow up appointment. 6:00 pm. Taxi there. Cost 21.04€/$24.56 Doctor is happy to see Richard's O2 levels are higher. Still not where they should be but better. His lungs sounded clearer and his color was not as white as it was yesterday. Doctor advises rest for a week. But ok to go to dinners by Uber which is less stressful for him than using public transport. We're done here by 7:00 pm. Uber from the doctor/clinic to the restaurant. Cost 23.83€/$27.93

Le Florimond. Reservation originally was for 7:00 pm but I called to push it to 8:00 pm due to Richard's doctor appointment. Warmly greeted when we arrived by a guy wearing a tie that Richard really liked. Very vivid colors and suited his personality. Outside seating as well as inside. Our table is by the window. Drinks-lemonade for Richard and apérol spritz for me. Chips and homemade dip but I don't remember what kind of dip it was. Only that it was tasty. Basket of bread. Used to sop up the gravy. We both ordered the stuffed cabbage. It was very good but we both agreed that we would have liked more cabbage. Stuffed with mixture of ground beef, rice, herbs?? Huge portion. We have no room for dessert. If I had I would have gotten the pear dessert as it sounded great. Cost 71.50€/83.80 Excellent, attentive service and fabulous hearty food.
